Great location in downtown Cairo, close to all essential needs - great food, drink and a 5 minute walk to the Egyptian museum. Staff are wonderful and very friendly, Tohami and Refeeq are always willing to help in any way. They provide laundry service and will help you book anything you need. Room was clean, AC works extremely well and bed was comfy. Highly recommend!

Perfect hotel for this money! Everything clean. There are different rooms, just ask to show what's available. So pity that I didn't stay here from the beginning. First night I spent in City Palace hotel (terrible place with dirty entrance, stairs, rats, mold on the walls). So Grand Palace hotel become like a paradise after. Even the street more pleasant and calm Don't be scared and feel free to book it

The hotel is very clean, quiet, and well run. It is also very close to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, and the staff are all really friendly and hardworking. I will go back to GPH on my next trip to Cairo, too. : ) It was a great stay for me, all 'round!

The hotel has a great location, two minutes walk from Tahrir square and the Egyptian museum, the room is very clean and it’s the same as the pictures.The continental breakfast is simple but very good. The staff is very kind and very helpful. It was a perfect stay in Cairo, I really recommend it !

The location was good. And my room was so quiet though the hotel is located in downtown.And, I could have breakfast although I had to check out early.

Located at the famous Champollion street, this hotel is 2 blocks away from the Cairo museum. We used the hotel sort of as transition during our trip. We paid one night so we can store our luggage and take a shower before heading to the airport for our trip to Luxor. The hotel doesn't start the first floor. It starts at the 6 floor. We got a little confused going up on the elevators. Got lost because we took the second elevator in the property which requires a key card to go up because there are actually apartments on the lower floors. After that it was straight forward. Rooms booked thorough booking.com were reserved and paid; waiting for us. The rooms are very nice and clean; good size too. Bathrooms are also very clean although the shower is kind of small. The small shower seems to be a thing in Egypt. We walk from the hotel to the Cairo museum. Is only 5 minutes away. Staff was very helpful and nice. They help us call a taxi for the airport when we left that night.

Great location, spacious and clean rooms, comfy beds, balcony, nice bathroom, friendly staff, specially Tohamy in reception was particularly supportive, friendly and helpful.Breakfast is basic but enough for start of the day.

I loved the location of the hotel and the access to every place you would want to go..... Excellent!!The staff and manager were extremely friendly and always there to help you,I can surely say I will come back again and advise anyone who wants to adventure eygpt,come to grand palace hotel
